Hectic, I do not remember when was the last time I enjoyed my personal life

Pros
Best thing I was offered here was a hike on my previous salary. The training period was boring and rules were very strict in training itself where colleagues are lectured for exceeding their break by even ONE Second, I am not exaggerating. You get used to be on time later on. Hitting the floor, in your MO phase, you will start seeing the politics and favouritism by Management. This company is best for girls if you are looking for a job, this is the place. For guys, please do not bother to work here as most of the department have men as their Managers and there is a lot of favouritism and partiality for girls who are less qualified than you. Your efforts, time management, attendance are never looked upon if you're a guy and they expect you to come at any cost even if the city is flooded. I guess I was unlucky to join this particular department where the Management and HR are villains.
Cons
5 months down I'm looking for a new job, mostly because of the shift timings and work offs. The WFM team doesn't bother to look at your current roster and arrange shift of offs if you are in rotational shifts, your life will keep changing every week as per shift. Sometimes you will have to work continuously 8 days straight to get a week off, nobody is co-operative to swap the shift when in need as you may have to call them and beg for a swap. Facilities are not good comparatively, as I got a hike on my salary things in this company started getting expensive (cafeteria). You will have to earn your incentives twice - once during your BAU and then try to save it from lapsing due to the impossible parameters set by company and management. I've lost around 4-5k in my incentives for not meeting my parameters by just couple of seconds. Growth seems to be an impossible option as they consider your tenure in the company and not quality of work one is giving, by tenure I mean it takes 4-5 years of experience on the same chair to move to the higher chair. Our AM is in the same position since 7 years. 7 YEARS OF ONE'S LIFE FOR A CARROT. I'm planning to quit this company at the earliest hence I dropped by Naukri to search for new jobs

I am trained in technologies like Java, C++, Python, Angular JS, Java Script, Cassandra, SQL, PLSQL etc. I do monitoring and data entry job with a honorable status of Software Engineer.

Pros
The only thing I like here is the training procedure. I would prefer to call it a college rather than an IT Organization. Almost all the top notch technologies we learn through the portals or learning processes offered from the organization but learning through work is negligible.
Cons
I do not think that the list of dislikes can be explained by typing letters and it is something to be experienced. Still I will try to write some points as follows- 1) The selection process of candidates for projects is extremely poor. Highly talented associates are getting hired into support projects that involves only excel sheet work. Only 5-10% of the associates are mapped into projects that are convenient to them or runs the technologies that they are trained on/good at. So You have to be fortunate enough to get the desired technology/technology stack. It is very common that you are hired as a developer and got mapped to some excel sheet job. 2) The worst most part in 90% of the projects is politics, partiality and racism. Yes, you heard right. The managers in most of the projects are top level educated politicians. In some cases the managers do not possess any functional knowledge about the process/project and questions your work taking input from hidden monitors instead of documents. They make the team environment dirty to work. They question your attitude when they cannot even control their temper when you raise a simple concern. They directly/Indirectly threatens you that you will awarded with L rating. 3) It is hard to get appreciation for work/performance. Your performance is waste unless you are a extremely talented oiling expert. Forget about appraisal if the condition is not met.

Boring

Pros
Good Campus Good cultural activities Work Life Balance depends on your project
Cons
-They dump almost everyone into night shift.Tech M has a culture of having night shifts ranging from 2.30 to 5.30 am.You will not get release from the project even if you work in those shifts for 2 years. -Cab facility is pathetic, they bring goonda drivers into system who misbehave with employees almost on a regular basis. -Very bad appraisal system,no transparency at all.In our team high job level guys got assigned themselves high ratings and people who actually burned their blood got a mere 2K -2.5K per month rise in salary. Moreover, they also went onsite. -Too much of regionalism, our manager gave hike and respect only to people who from his region. -If you ask for release from project, they will ask you to resign. No respect for you and your contribution. -HRs are extremely non-cooperative(especially if you get under Charu Vishnoi). -Bad cafeteria services and no one acts on complaints filed against vendors. -They can do extreme stupidity under the name of cost cutting-like in the scorching heat of May,they will turn on cafeteria AC only for 12-4 pm, cleaning washroom only once in a day, no tissues in washroom, faulty hand dryers not repaired,no pest control in washrooms(you will see cockroaches roaming around in washroom). -Very mediocre level of team mates, they bring people from BPO section of techM into IT projects who don't have any understanding of stuff, all in the name of increasing profit margins. -They don't have good projects.

Desk job and process is governed only with approval from senior management even for operational expenses where Manager role is just like a clerk. Professionalism takes a second row.

Pros
Work place is good, Career growth is pathetic, Job security depend on the he policy changes from time to time and is not dependable, Salary and appraisal is just a process but depends on the circle Head decision, work life balance is dependent on the level or grade one is hired. Innovation and talented people are there, Travel is pathetic. Maybe a good place to work for people who need to compromise with personal commitments.
Cons
Pathetic salary package and growth and company profitability is increased by lower pays and lay offs. When industry and company was making profits excuses were given that there not much to share for increment but were able to acquire many loss making companies and expand horizontally, ironically the Operations Head is paid the highest salary package comparable across the industry. When genuinely industry is not doing well the same excuse is given and is in a cost cutting mode. Retirement policy is also made as 55 years and reduced year compensation is also not considered. It's not employee focused. This will lead to loss of talented employees in long run which is contrary to IT industry growth and deliverables gets hit.

I worked in a 24 x 7 process which was very hectic and too much dependability on the team members. This kind of culture destroys one's personal and work life balance. Learned few things in MS office while working at Mahindra Logistics Limited.

Pros
Job security can be considered as they are always out of adequate staff for any process throughout the company. They need people to at any given point of time so you can consider your job to be safe there. Also work from home facility can be availed in case of emergencies.
Cons
Work culture is below par. Lack of staffing is a point of worry as in many processes throughout, one person has to do work of 3 people. Overburden of work makes personal and professional life balance tough to adjust. No overtime given and growth is very slow. The work pressure is so high, that i had to work 12 to 14 hrs everyday. No proper shift timings for 24 x 7 process. I had done 24 hrs shift thrice in my 21 month career. Also i had faced ending up doing night shift for 17 continuous days which affected my health. There is no training provided to freshers, where we have to train them step by step which affected my productivity too. To summarize this workplace, I would personally not recommend any of my close friends or relatives to work with MLL.

Good for freshers., Please switch within two years if fresher on one year if you are a lateral joiner unless you are mapped to the project that harnesses your true potential or let’s ypu learn new technologies.

Pros
The company has all new technologies that are pioneers and gets resources to work on those projects and provides training on the technologies as well.,
Cons
To retain existing projects and balance the income from clients and the explore new ventures, sometimes the mapping of resources to projects are in such a way that resources with vast knowledge with new technologies are mapped to few projects that are of old and redundant that does not have that kinda technology and have policies that makes the resources stay in that projects for a long time and they can never get to see new projects and technologies. Sometimes these resources are lured into projects with False promises of the new technologies being used in the project which are in fact not used! Few projects that are pioneer map resources who are required for less than a year and the respective manager do not rate them appropriately in appraisals as they have worked less than a year in the project and so fail to identify and appreciate the resource. This also affects the reaource’s career growth as he/she would not have completely worked on the project and the technologies used for a long time and would have limited knowledge of them. Some managers in support projects make resources work on weekends and holidays and fail to give the resources their Comp-offs properly. Some projects even have 12 hours of weekend working and this when taken to HR will get corrected for few weeks and again they get back to the routine of 12 hours weekend shifts. In few production support projects they do not hire adequate resources and make the existing resources extra hours to manage them.

Ok, not so exciting and not so boring as well

Pros
Well the only thing I like about techm is that you get lot of opportunities to work with client directly and learn a lot on field. You will be dealing with issues directly. The exposure toward project and work is good. You get noticed and also get opportunities to go onshore as well. An average work life balance also is one more good point, policies like flexible work timings and few work from home gives somewhat good work life balance.
Cons
Compensation is worst. My basic didn't change even a rupee till date in 8 years of Tech Mahindra. 2 years there was no salary revision. Employee welfare policies are worst in the industry. Senior management will never think from employee perspective and will spend surplus amount in buying back shares. Company will waste huge amount of money in year end bash but will not give bonus to anyone. Training is useless for example, project manager will have to do training for microservices and a solution designer have to do training for scrum or pmp. Domain specific training are either paid or requires high level of approval after which you will have to serve bonds as well. There is an unnecessary approval process for even smallest thing like desk, stationary. For some instances, approval like travel even goes up to director level.

Pros
The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable high quality products and has a global client base as a result I get to travel Hyderabad especially white field and ecity. But on site travel is completely dependent on your clients location. Mine is a ecity based client and they have some offices in hgs, myntra I got a best salary quickly another plus point is that my colleague come from near by house and we work very happily in my colleague I also like employee hire.
Cons
Compensation is decent but Growth is slow.the work pressure is Very high. Sometimes, I have to work 14-16hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals unique strengths, which bus why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid year appraisals. Also there is no on job training for fresher's hence senior folks like me have to guide them step by step which is a pain sometimes.

Okay

Pros
The workspace is too good. They offered music on the floor with individual speakers which motivates you to work efficiently with fun. Also team leaders are very supportive in each and every term. Way of training is awesome but shorter in time however if you are experienced then you can manage that.
Cons
DAP- which is displinery action plan, when you perform good they target you and monitor all your chats to eat all your incentives. Howere there is too much partiality where managers and their quality team supports some advisors (girls only) in their quality errors. There are some campaigns like international trip, if you've got any DAP then you can not go to that trip, however one of my ex colleague(girl) got DAP but still she went to that trip. Also currently there is another trip going on maybe in next 2 months, another top advisor (one of favourite girl of floor) got DAP she convince managers to remove that DAP parameter from international trip and they did. such a wow thing. Honest review to tech Mahindra stop partiality also we are humans. We understand that quality is important but we are humans you can do at least one mistake in 1000 chats. But that does not mean you take all incentives. It will be better if you set some deduction. But take all the incentives doesnt make any sense. To be honest they only give DAP to the one who is performing. They do not give any DAP to their favourite one's. Favourite people got DAP only by the different department not from the same quality team. Hr team is very very supportive to management, they will not take your side at all. Lol. Also there was one instance where we need to pitch one particular thing on particular chat and the management made that thing as a parameter for incentives however the favourite advisors (girls) pitch that thing on every chat where there is no need that was unethical practice. We monitored that chats and got to know this. So we highlighted that thing to team leader and he had words with Ops manager you know what ops manager respond- "usko itna time kaise mila dusro k chats audit krne ka Jara uska chats dekho Kai unethical practice to nai KR ra" Such a mind blowing answer by that manager. Later on we stopped auditing and I left Job i hope this review will reach to HR and they will take actions.

Extremely hectic as we used to work 11 hours a day. But our manager released us to save his own hide by giving lame excuses.

Pros
Nothing to like in this dead company.
Cons
Everything. This company is running on the whims of the top management. They destroyed many freshers lives including mine by forcing us to put resignation by EOD after 1 year. Maybe in other companies people worry about salary and appraisals but in this company people are extremely happy as long as they are in a project and don't care about those things. Maybe in some projects work environment is good but most of them have terrible work environment as most of the project managers are non technical guys who are even too afraid to talk with the client. Politics are rampant in this company, allocation of resources is a nightmare and rmg's won't care. Me and my friend got selected in a project but the rmg's didn't release us. Hr's are useless and won't listen to employees. Innovation is great,as these guys discover new methods for cost optimisation like threatening employees, removing tissues in the bathroom and supplying sub-par food in the canteen. Mostly scrap projects with some age old technologies. So I won't recommend this company to either freshers or laterals as job security is nil and you may be thrown out any time.
