As a FC my role is sale, VM, toy demo.

Pros
Reliance Brands Ltd. Has a very big market in different categories so it's quite popularly know leading all other retail company competitors. As I was designated as a FC(Fun Consultant). It was a fun place to work in a Reliance Brand name know as Hamleys, a toy shop. Worked and enjoyed the atmosphere so all you need to do is play with toys. Entertain the customers. Best part is to play with demo toys. I got to know my cauligues very friendly nature as a team of FC's.
Cons
I was hired for the airport as a FC(Fun Consultant) store T1 departure at Mumbai (T610). Apart from sales and VM's, we were made to do the house keeping work like floor moping. Then FC's are made to bring all the stock from the vender like unloading stock (average of 180 or more boxes of toys) from the tempo and deliver to our store. Manager made FC's do overtime (13hrs or more) without getting overtime paid especially during stock receiving time. The HR is not cooperative with payment. There is no proper salary as mentioned in the CTC. There's no perks and growth even after two years of experience.

My job profile includes both B2C & B2B. I do in-store customer grievances handling, resolving all sorts of customer issues either regarding products or services, arranging & hosting all sorts of marketing events, operational works in SAP like PIS, GRN,etc

Pros
Work pressure is moderate. Overall its a fun-loving & friendly ambience to work. Compensation & Benefits are excellent. On-job training & inductions are interesting & excellent. Salary gets credited on month-end & in time. Lots of learnings and creative team keeps me motivated throughout. Love to be a part of the RBL family with all lovely experiences.
Cons
Compensation & Benefits are excellent, but growth is very slow. Work pressure is moderate. Overall its a friendly fun-loving ambience to work. Yearly appraisals are not good at all. Salary gets credited on month-end, however pay is very less compared to working standards. The top-level management is not too much effective in taking decisions at the right time. The management promised to launch a career-enhancing programme long back but yet not launched. On-job training & inductions are excellent. Overall experience is good. Only reason of my dissatisfaction is very slow career growth.

Pros
Would not recommend because : 1. People have more interest knowing what's going on in others life rather than improving own skills. 2. Chatu people will go ahead and you will not despite doing all hard work. 3.Boss is the god , you shouldn't say anything against him/her. 4. Compensation are very low atleast for new joiners or less than 5years experience. 5. Not so corporating HRs , every small thing you discuss with your HR reaches your Manager .Even they are not aware of many policies. No written communication. Most of the things happens verbally so that later you don't have any proof. 6.In the name of Insurance and Medical Benefits they deduct a considerable amount which are included in package. 7. You learn nothing significant that adds value to your career . 8. They are hiring people like donkeys and at the place where earlier 1 person used to sit , they make 2 people to adjust causing health issues to many . 9. Average hike 3-5% . Things you may like : 1. Beautiful Gardens, newly constructed buildings, big campus to hang around and take pictures. 2. Tasty and affordable food. 3.24*7 medical facility . 4. 9 hours fixed working hours .Come at leave on time .Do anything except work . To go up ladder. 5. Those who are looking for a retirement company , this is the one . Thank you

Hetic, but also we used to have some fun stuff. its up to us. I believe anywhere in any company it's our responsibility to create our own environment the way we want. So nothing to do with company. Thanks.

Pros
It's a great place to learn things on own. Working with some many people is really nice and interacting with so many people is really interesting and every situation there is challenging. Every day can learn something new in any aspect.
Cons
It's really peitous where no good work is recognized. Here it doesn't Matter about quality of work to be served it's just the person to be there no matter how they are been doing work. No support from expected higher authority, only you will be received support till you speak or show sweetness with all buttering stuff. Growth opportunities is equal to zero. No professionalism, No standards are maintained as its a BIG Name, Salary scale highly disappointing and same goes with yearly hikes and HR is wrost . My suggestion to work with Reliance Digital would be fine if someone is willing to have experience in every aspect not considering salaries, growth, support, opportunities, recoginition. For learning it's a good platform where we learn not only about , 'what to do' but also 'what not to do'...

Pros
The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable, high-quality products and has a global client base. As a result, I get to travel abroad, especially to the US and Canada. But on-site travel is completely dependent on your project and client’s location. Mine is a US based client and they have some offices in Toronto, hence I got a B1 visa quickly. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds, and we work happily in collaboration. I also like the employee re-hire policy here.
Cons
Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals’ unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes.

It is a challenging job as I was normally doing the audit function. And taken the ownership and felt that I was working on behalf of honourable she Amabani sir.

Pros
The company is very caring for good people. Especially in loss prevention department, some senior officials retired from army showing supper who. In my case I served as an ALPO in loss prevention department for 5 years, even When my father was taking his last breath that time also I considered duty is God and awaited to complete my duty then Will reach to my father but till that time he had left the earth. Continuously and decatedly I have done my duty for 5 years. But now the Zonal ALP head retired Col. Surojit Songs and Rajeswary Samal HE, Odisha, Calcutta met together and forced me to make a illegal report against Mr. Samal Sr. Manager category. I denied to make any false report and for that Col.Surojit Sinha and Rajeswari Samal warned me to leave the service. Col.Surojit Sinha took lead and harrashed me in such way that, he completed me to resign. After the resignation, I also made a letter/ mail to cancel the resignation, but Mr. Surojit Sinha clearly rd me that the Retail SOP head Brig. NARESH IS his army colleague and he will not take me back as I denied to accept his illegal Order. I will request to Respected Mukesh Ambani Sir and Respected Mam Nita Madam intervene and give me justice.
Cons
Is a good place to work. But in loss prevention department, senior officials especially Col. And Brigs making it terrible, even someone does not like to pick their luggage from them, they forced to resign him.

I was associated with RBL as a fun consultant so my work was to greet the customer and suggest them products according their requirements, converting walk in customera into sales, other works like taking care for CSD as well, return of products, etc.

Pros
It was amazing to work with RBL,there I learn so many things, teammates were owsome, one most important thing salary always came on time, about politics so it is very common in every field so here also, but I never went that part I enjoyed my self with my work. Working environment was little bit odd but not such a big issue. If I got a chance with better package so will definitely want to join again. Thanks
Cons
I think somewhere there is gap between the different post levels so I just want it should be more transparent and all the team members should have on same platform.

My work is a marketing, managers have given target based on the potential out let's, work pressure had to overcome the competitor's, good relationship with customers is the only way to overcome the pressure, implement of the cust reltiship mant (CRM)

Pros

Very good environment at Reliance market, the way which company provide training to the employee is excellent, it' will improve good communication skills, and knowledge about retail sectors. Scope of Career growth, good salary in marketing people, adopting new technology like SAP, in business. It is a big industry so there are scope in career growth, thank you.

Hectic, too much of work pressure, they make us work on a completely different profile outside our expertise.

Pros
Brand Name of Reliance. Office interiors are amazing. Fast growing company , good pay.
Cons
Team is good but not unity among the team members, company culture is such that every one just forwards the work to others & doesnt aim to close the same. No job security as your seniors treat you as you are a dumb person and act as if you do not do any value add to the company. Travel is hectic as you are made to travel between cuffe parade and ghansoli any time during the week, nothing as such is informed during your interview. Since 8 months i was not provided even one training. Office ambience is good, young crowd but people tend to talk bluntly with you. Flexible hours and lights off policy but still your boss makes you sit long hours and also expects you to work on weekends.
