Pros
Larsen & Toubro is a world class compnay, its working/learning atmosphere is very good very large. Job security and Salary in-time is the most benefisher for employ.
Cons
Performance related declaration (PLR) by management is not good culture. In this scheme only those take good benefit who are closed to boss. Those employee who work with dedication and hard working is not criteria for PLR.

My work is managing store. It is very interesting and handling various type of material and people (sub- contractor, workman) . One side implementing management policies and other side to provide good working atmosphere for site teem.

Pros
The company is allowing staff to to take own decisions and implement. In construction all achievements are teem work. follow instruction of superiors and discuss for improvement better implementation of policies. Salary and other work environment and work life balance are good in the industry. I like the culture of this company. Appraisal systems are transparent and always give proper appreciation for the right persons and chance for improvement for needy person. As fer as the job security is concern it good for the people working hard/ sincere. I like the employee re-hire policy here.
Cons
People can be given chance to work in their native at least one in service. Financial approval system has to be speed-up.

Working as a Senior Software Engineer

Pros
This company is good for nothing. They are just a subsidiary of Larsen and Toubro. Work culture is nothing like L&T and it operates as an individual company which makes it worst. -No learning opportunity and no growth. -Worst work culture and team. -Full on internal Politics. -HR department is garbage. Moral - Don't join this company for god's sake.
Cons
- No learning opportunity - Less salary and biased incentives - No on-site opportunity - Worst HR department - Company policy no employee friendly - Politics and buttering - Long working hours

Generally speaking, my work is slightly challenging as i have to look after the entire Subcontracting management and Asset Management as well as manage day-to-day yield operations. But i stay on my toes by doing competitive benchmark studies on my own....

Pros
The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that i am a part of team that markets reliable, high-quality products and has a global client base. But it is completely dependent on your project and client's location. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds, and we work happily in collaboration.
Cons
Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, i have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as i have to attend client calls in the evening and some times late into the night. Managers do not value a individuals unique strengths, which is why i have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails form my client but the mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals.
