enerally speaking, my work is slightly challenging as I have to look after the entire product marketing and distribution life cycle as well as manage day-to-day yield operations. Pitching for my company as a marketer gets tiring and the task is slightly r

Pros
The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable, high-quality products and has a global client base. As a result, I get to travel abroad, especially to the US and Canada. But on-site travel is completely dependent on your project and client’s location. Mine is a US based client and they have some offices in Toronto, hence I got a B1 visa quickly. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds, and we work happily in collaboration. I also like the employee re-hire policy here.
Cons
Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals’ unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes.

Haha what should I tell? With in a span of 7 months.. They changed my role to 4 different departments/ channels... Is this how you treat your employee?

Pros
Nothing to like in this company except salary and allowances.
Cons
Guys, if you want to join this company... Remember 1 thing. Forgot about your personal life and family. Everyday torture from managers for business. Even you have to work on Sundays, festivals. Even if you have completed your work timings and returned to home, even though your managers will torture you in calls whatsap for business and targets. Let me tell you how I left icici pru, ohh sorry wait.. I didn't left the company, my managers made me do it. They not accepted my sign in attendance, even am going to office daily and tried to give my best to the organization. But this is what they did.. So they were giving me hints go and resign for your job. Everyone will have self respect, even I do... So without hesitation I went to hr and gave my resignation. Worst company in my carrier I had never seen. Freshers, i suggest you to not join this company and spoil your career. That's all.. Thankyou, Jai hind!!!

I worked as a Unit Manager (Agency channel) in ICICI PRUDENTIAL LIFE INSURANCE,pondicherry.

Pros
Hi I am srinivasan Icici Prudential is a perfect place to develop your skills and to learn....no job is secured in the world, unless you fail to do your duties. Icici will give time to learn, during the learning period we will be free, if you enjoy those days and the following days will be tough. Salary will be on time. ICICI can monitor the employee in many possible ways, but they wont do... becoz they trust us......... if we are running a business whether we sit and relax !!!! Think of it......... Be a boss in Icici, learn as much as you can...keep updated.......I dont know whether there is politics or not .????? You will have freedom to Express your views....For me, ICICI gives me a recognition. I got relieved from ICICI and started Business for career growth...I thought if I start a business there wont be target, here also I find target....I have learnt that if there is no target or goals, life will be empty.. wherever you go for work, you will find problems.... Dont look for problems, try to find solutions for it....its a universal truth that every problem has solution....I definitely say that I miss Icici Prudential life insurance. Feeling good to share the opinions, these words are true. Career growth is infinite. If are truly willing to work, join ICICi.
Cons
I didnt find any....I am not perfect in pointing others....

Generally speaking, my work is slightly challenging as I have to look after the entire product marketing as distribution life cycle as well as manage day-to-day yield operations. As long as I get to work closely with the client, it will be a experience.

Exciting. It depends on our Moodswing - an individual should start his day positive to keep the same vibe throughout the day. Which will create positive vibe to the surroundings and to the peer groups.

Pros
I would like to take privilage in thanking ICICI Prudential, my bosses and team for the person who I'm today. From a Sales person to marketing person the journey was little tough but it's still a memorable ride which gave lot of opportunity to test my creativity. It believed in my potential and added a bigger responsibility to my shoulder which gave additional power to carry it to next level. It was a day to be remembered. We made a gold mine which is glorifying now.
Cons
Salary and Level split. It took me 2 years for reaching to this position but it will take still 8 more years in Ipru for reaching the Level where a normal IIM cat college person is hired and paid. People with passion and potential equal to IIMs are recoganized for the smart work and hard work and extracted work more than what an IIM does but failed to provide a proper pay. HR policy and management need to take a look at it. Instead of placing 3 SMs they can pay 2 SMs or 1 SM who is working well and good - who will take added responsibility and work but they fail to understand this common logic and keep cost cutting with own employees, they know they will get people for less wage - so instead of paying 2 person, they can pay 10 persons. Still old managers following old strategies and not lending ears to follow new strategies. SUPER BOSSES are cool - they mindshare is what required all people at mid level management who came to the position only because of staying in same company for 13 years needs to be eliminated and AVP level people should bring in young and dynamic persons as managers to work under them into play.

Managers didn’t treat well. They treat employees like a workers. When I left job I didn’t get my previous months salary yet when it gets 4 months by lefting. I mailed so many times to HR but they didn’t respond. Such a careless. Managers are not understanding.
Cons
Teammates are good but managers are not. They aren’t understand the situations that what we face the critics in banks. Managers treating us not good. They are nit accept our leaves hence we have to face absconding n all. Full of politics also there.

My over all experience with ipru was good except the politics that my boss and HR played on me. There were bias in nature. Eventually i got transferred into banca and things became good for me. 2018-19 were truly my year i got A1 rating and enjoyed in ban

Pros
The best part about working with Ipru is that if you work hard and if you are loyal you will get rewarded for it. Hardwork always gets paid back.
Cons
Politics and mentality of people. Inspite of being on a good level the thinking level is poor.
