I dont wanna talk abt the work because i have been hired to wrk for one dept but was asked to wrk for 3 dept

Pros
It iss a pathetic company lot of politics and buttering for promotions ijps are for name sake the people bribe the management to reserve their names for the ijp and to become the manager and aperson becomes avp without any interview and just need to have a buttering attitude and vp promotes him, though its a uk brand but hsbc hyderabad india provides a idiotic and a eubbish transport worst than a domestic transport, the crucial thing is the male managers harass female employees and becaue of which lot of posh cases are been raised,if some one has to get a good year rating then a whisky bottle can be given to a manger to get a good yearly bonus no recognition for hardwork, level 6 dont understand the level 8 issues and they dont grant genuine sick leaves but the level 6 goes on a one month sick leaves, i wanted to join because of the brand name but when i experienced all this i resigned and thankgod because of all this tortures i could have become a mental health person a potentially vulnerable .i made a wise decision to leave the company.lot of differences of religion like modi sarkar does though a corporate sector.the people who are working as a mangement they are spoiling the brand name.they wont allow to talk to uk clients to get our issues resolved.
Cons
Everything can be disliked nothing can be liked.

Overall good, but I was not been given the opportunity to grow in the organization. I wanted to become an AM. I reached out to my AM and he said do not try for our team, I will let you know, then you can try for other departments, put me on hold 2 yrs

Pros
The HR Hiring Team is Pethetic, I have been trying to rejoin back past an year and half now. The hiring team does not even check their emails or answer phone calls from former employees to rehire. I have faced a very hard time with this team, after being part of the organization for close to a decade, this is what i was treated like. I will never ever recommend my relatives and friends to join HSBC. I worked with HSBC for 8 yrs and 6 months.. They do non value their employees at all once they are out of office and want to rejoin back. I am still waiting to rejoin and still keep sending emails, but till date have not received any responses from hiring team more than 3 months now. I do not want to take names, but people take out personal grudges here at this place and the same thing is done to me for no reason.
Cons
Salaries and appraisals are not based on numbers, they are purely based on how good you treat your AM's during weekends. I had been observing this trend the last 5-6 years of my tenure. People who work hard are never recognised, but people who play safe and treat managers for allowing them take long breaks and not completing targets.. Etc these are the benefits people enjoy for not giving their best at work and it's shocking that end of month their ratings n stacks speak a lot.. I still do not understand how they manage getting through months and years surviving this way with the help of their AM's. I have personally seen this happening in my team for years. They suppress the talented ones and help the not so talented ones, because the AM's get royally treated during weekends by the not so talented ones. They talk about transparency. Now where is that transparency gone??? They support only people whom they like.

My work in HSBC is confined to the nine hours I am in the office. It involves a lot of interaction with business, Global teams and senior members of the organisationfor those who love to travel these ample opportunity for international and national travel

Pros
HSBC is one company that is true to the promises that are made at the time of hiring. I join the profile which involved 80% travel however due to personal problems I mentioned that I cannot travel for more than 25% and at the time of hiring the managers confirm that they will take care of it and it's been more than one and half year that I been working with HSBC and no travel assignment has been assigned to me. The culture in the team is amazing it's a global team so everybody works together to get to achieve the completion of the audit. The concept of Offshore and onshore is also missing thus everyone's gets a chance to work on end to end audits. the best part is that you are not stuck on a specific kind of work or a project every 3 months you will get a different challenge to portray your skills. With HSBC I upgraded my skills, undergone several courses an increase my knowledge base to a great level. It is a great working place if you like to work loan and want a challenging life. The best part is that you get to do all of that in 9 hours you are in the office. I would surely recommend HSBC to all Aspiring finance professionals.
Cons
They are not many things that I can list which I don't like about HSBC. One of them is obviously the policy where in the increment is based upon the inflation in the country so sometimes it may seem really low . However accompanied with career progression and other opportunities this hurdle can be taken care of

I am consultant specialist playing team lead role and have primary skill set as Java/J2EE

Pros
I worked in GBM finance IT department we get good amount of bonus out of your annual CTC if company is performing good. Work life balance is good will get work from home facility also once in a week depending on your manager and project. Here I got opportunity to work on end to end life cycle from development till production deployment.
Cons
Your performance evaluation is based mainly k the perception manager has about you. Here you speak a lot will get good rating compare to who work good showcasing is more important here. Very less opportunity to grow your skill mostly you will get enhancement come production L3 L3 support project . One of the worst things is very difficult to change project Internal job portal is of no use. I am not getting project opportunity to work in my primary skill set Java so they are moving me into ETL tool or database.after 6months of applying in IJP portal i have not any luck and outside I searched job and got this in 1 month. Some manager are useless they are not at all effectively doing management.

Was part of Payments sanction-OFAC. Basically dealing In AML.

Pros
I liked the work culture and fair deal with each one of us as team members, regardless of fresher's or experienced, many ways are there to explore yourself, talking from induction Till on work floor found eachother very Cooperative specially when you have joined as fresher's, I had very good times as i joined as fresher's and had learnt a lot. Wanted to thank HR, Teammates, Team leader, Mangers and Staff😊👍
Cons
As i mentioned above Everything and every one was as Good as needed for happening Progress in career, over all very good experience also loved the organised way of Ratting, appraisal etc. Basically there was nothing to dislike but here and there if you are supporting other process and performing well enough than remaining employees, your performance will not be appreciated (But again it depends upon person to person) Which can be sorted out.

I was working for MEENA Region, Voice Process taking care of NPA accounts loan remodelling as per the customer feasibility as on the date as per his financial status aftr thorough study of his finances. Later i moved to backend where i processed the requs

Pros
Good Team work. Well known and reputed Company. Innovative ideas are always taken up with open arms. Huge exposure for various new technologies coming up in market. Employee hire policy is good.
Cons
Team Heads interaction with Employee does not give any fruitful results. It just happens as per Employees Regulations act. Genuine action as per the requirement is not taken up. Several internal issues at Manager levels are overseen by the higher officials, which indirectly made emloyees voice go dumb. Many a times issues were not even taken up seriously. Unnecessary comments about the capabilities of employee demotivate them. No on job training for freshers. Even though kept on raising the same point in several meetings with HR action not taken. senior staff had to train the new comers which is not recommended in such a big organisation.

My work was more of managing transport operations of the company and also looking after the administrative work. The work environment was truly exciting. At times, it was challenging in terms of managing vendors and stakeholders, however, it was exciting.

Pros
My name is Syed Tafsir Haider. Ever since I started my career with HSBC, I was really thrilled to be a part of such great an organization. My colleagues whom I have worked with were amazing, shared a very good rapport with all, have an excellent training over the years in terms of being responsible, accountable and to be independent. HSBC provides career growth to all and sundry depending on individual's profile and their ability to take on the challenges thus, paving way for myself being promoted to the next level. The salary/appraisal is apt and I am sure to believe that the employees including me were truly satisfied including the work environment, learning needs and work-life balance. To be very honest, I wouldn't be able to comment on the politics, as I have never been a party to this and trust I simply had a very good image. Thank you HSBC once again for what I am today.
Cons
I do not have anything to comment on the above query, as I was very much satisfied with the profile I was working and the people around me were amazing.

Hectic as productivity targets are insanely high.one hardly gets time to check emails let alone careers or growth intranet.

Pros
Good work environment with friendly , non judgemental people.salary structure & pay package is excellent as per industry standards, growth is slow &learning opportunities are decided by line managers who are not always impartial, leave policy is very good with support for different life events like exams, motherhood, demise of loved ones.Overall, a good place to work if growth is not the primary concern but job stability is.
Cons
Learning opportunities are decided by line managers even though the courses may be open to all.this is a huge deterrent to one's growth.I also see a lot of bias in recognizing performance or contribution.Facilities can be improved at the Kolkata site with better building condition, adding a gym & maybe putting more greenery inside the building instead of the plastic flowers I see around

Typically speaking, i'm into a high voice collections process for Indian customers who use HSBC Credit cards and personal loans. We worked primarily on inbound and outbound campaigns to collect funds from the delinquent customers.

Pros
I like the actual work and the quality of perks it would offer an employee. It offers various programs that would benefit society in many ways and we had many modules covering various work related and firm related aspects which was very good. Leaves it offers like a 10 day stretch, we call it "core leave" is mandatory for everybody apart from 24 leaves, is really good. We are trained well and were introduced to all sections in induction period right from how cabs run to the kind of security systems they use. Feedback mostly was considered.
Cons
Vizag GSC unlike the old times now lack strong work ethics and professionalism. A lot of politics, harassment, profanity and bullying is prevalent on the floors which is not being checked. If the feedback or a complaint is given, there are dire consequences the employee had to face. A lot of unnecessary stress flows from higher management to the agents. It lacks effective communication. Work-life balance is off life to me. I dreaded going to work every single day i worked there to be honest. Hence i quit the job as it is against my principles.

Pros
Great level of Professionalism, Culture, and HR Policies. If you have talent you can reach up to heights but you need to wait minimum 2 years.
Cons
Complete chaos in leadership & strategy and would like to iterate that frequent changes in organisational level is not done properly even ground reality has been overlooked completely. In the year 2016-17, HSBC fired many people and we have seen how freshers & experienced both has been fired in 1 week or so after recruiting them. My team members were average, lack knowledge not because they are inefficient but organisation didn't allocated professionals skill wise rather they asked us to learn skills, adapt & work. Training was good but it was having no meaning wherein that whole process has been removed later on after we started working on such things due to organisational level changes. Appraisals are only good if you stay in the company for minimum 2 years and not before that, work environment is awesome so be relax, go office on time and leave on time and nobody will stop you and if you want you can connect it from home after your probation period is over. Overall a Good Company and would like to work with HSBC again.
