Pros
Accenture as a company is great to work in, the training is top notch and the some of the policies are employee friendly. One of Accenture's core values is that they have the Best people. This will be stressed out during the Induction :) while the reality is different. HR teams mandate all Delivery units to provide a bottom resource at every career level. While the Performance appraisal framework did change and Accenture did do away with the Bell curve system of force fitting employees to bottom, nothing changed on the ground. Supervisors are forced to identify their bottom candidates by the Project Managers and the Delivery Leads during the mid year itself. I mean C'mon for god's sake, think of the people who don't deserve to be a candidate for a managed exit, but, has to be planned anyway due to some odd reason and due to the mandate by the HR teams.
Cons
1. Each year, there is a mandate by the HR team to identify a bottom candidate across career levels. This is not an ideal scenario for anyone, neither for the supervisors who are forced to identify a bottom candidate by their Delivery Leads nor for the candidate who will eventually be ranked as bottom and be selected for a managed exit. If you are not good with your boss or higher ups, you can be a potential candidate to be ranked as bottom (this is all the more applicable for resources in Supervisory roles (TLs and above)). 2. Doctors hired for their domain expertise being promoted as Delivery/Project managers. Needless to say while these candidates might be good in Healthcare, they lack adequate knowledge and are poor when it comes to knowledge on the SDLC, STLC etc. Some are good at Story-telling and this helps them in masking their deficiencies. Some of these doctors (PMs) are unfit to be working in the area of Project management, they have no clue on Project estimation, software testing etc. They tend to get away with it by abstaining from getting involved in projects and getting themselves involved in Industry initiatives and by working on some RFPs. 3. In some cases, the Project manager and the Senior manager/Associate manager are barely involved in monitoring the overall health of the project. There are no weekly or monthly connects to discuss project health and they tend to step in only when there is a client escalation & try to figure out what went wrong, neither are there any connects to discuss the employee concerns. 4. Asking for roll-off from a project is akin to a resource committing a crime. Such resources will be targeted and planned to be ranked as a bottom candidate in the performance appraisal cycle. Its as though the project manager owning the resource, if the resource asks for a roll-off for whatever reason, then the PM sees that resource as his bottom resource for the FY & efforts are made to ensure that the resource is sent out from the firm

Cash Posting and Application. It dealt with allocation of transactions in accordance to the status on the ERP.

Pros
It feels great to be associated with a multinational company. The policies are superficially employee centric and it's an overwhelming experience to be working with a company of such grand stature and strong brand image.
Cons
After joining Accenture Noida, I could sense discrimination and managerial bias. Following are the cons elaborated categorically :- 1. Lack of respect in a genuine sense by the TL and managers for female employees. 2. Poor grievance redressal. I received a hate and abusive message on my Facebook account. However, no action was taken against my grievance. 3. Male employees are given undue power by the TL and the manager to pass gender biased comments such as "Ladkiya to timepass ke liye job karti hain..inka koi career nahi hota". And the manager and the TL will not take a stand for the integrity of a female employee. 4. Leaves were duly granted but later I was harassed and blamed for unplanned leaves. 5. The variable bonus is dispersed in absolute prejudice. The AM and TL would unjustifiably distribute the highest bonus to the person who has the maximum number of errors and lacks initiative in the process. 6. The TL and AM conspired against me by asking the team members to write fake mails against me to terminate my services or force me for an IJP. 6. When adequate support was not extended from the AM, TL, People Advisors and the HR managers, I had to reach out to the national HR head and Grievance Redressal team in Bangalore for the derogatory remarks and lack of transparency in variable bonus disbursement. Eventually, I realize that the bitter truth that if a person has a progressive approach and critically analyzes the situation and seeks a justifiable work environment and transparency in recognition for work, that person is bound to pay a cost. I resigned from my services, however, I earnestly wished that the company could live upto its strong brand image in the industry. I wanted to continue with the company, had they valued the honest feedback, grievances and worked upon employee retention.

Right now after 1 year I got little opportunity in development even my core skill set in Java.

Pros
Awesome teammates. You will not get bored in Accenture. Amazing crowd. Somehow Accenture care about your choice in selecting projects by location. Work life balance. If you are at ASE level then company literally take care of you like baby. Your job is secure till 2 years even if you have done nothing. Accenture spend too much money parties. So if you are party person then you gonna enjoy it.
Cons
1.Poor salary - As compared to other MNC, Accenture gives poor salary to employees. As per my observation for fresher and 2 levels up Accenture gives 80% less salary than product based market. 2. Poor HR Management- Accenture is too poor in HR management. If you have one primary skillset then management will allocate you exactly opposite skillset project. You will have 2 choices to refuse it. 3rd will be termination. For some specific cases such that LOA, no any case manager know anything about process. 3. Poor quality of Work in projects- projects in Accenture are well settled. Hence already whole frameworks of projects already been designed. Hence you will not have development tasks available in projects. Only testing and maintainance tasks are available in existing projects. Even new projects will not have good work because Accenture has very high rate for development projects, Hence many start up companies grab such projects at low prices. 4. Slow Financial and Promotional growth- Growth in Accenture is too slow. 2 years before 15 months was a period for promotion but now it is 21 months. No matter how hard you work you will have to wait 21+ months for promotion except training period, bench period, shadow hardlock period, LOA period etc. Even promotional hike is around 10-15% which is too low. If you are unlucky with promotional cycle then you have wait for 4-5 months extra. 5. Slow technical growth- Projects in Accenture still works on very low level technology. My whole project framework is on Angular JS. Tester's have to deal with only excel sheets. Although Accenture promotes advance IT skill but in reality 99% projects in Accenture uses no any advance IT skills. ( Said by my manager) 6. No onshore opportunities- There is no any chance of onshore opportunity for at least 5-6 year's in one project.

I Was A Trainee In Honeybager Facebook Process For A Month & i got terminated bcoz of my trainer due to trainer's behaivour issues.

Pros
Pathetic Company!! when i got selected for social media process honeybager facebook. I must say the trainer which i had in my training period was so biased & bad that while providing training & taking assesments he used to give freedom to other team mates that do copy & paste & earn scores but when it was my turn he never pushed me in that he used to push other 28 team mates except one single person which is me due to that my scores was not upto mark thats why i was asked to leave. he used to give my negative feedbacks to his bose that i dont want to work if i dont want to work then why i m coming to office. one day a manager & a TL came to check our process knowledge but no was giving answers bcoz of no gaining process knowledge during coping in assestments but on that day my trainer took me to his boss & i got verbual warning & when me & my trainer came back in our training that Manager & TL was still checking knowledge & asking questions but no one properly gave answers aftee that Manager & Tal Said bhot thanda batch hai & we will give feedback to my trainers boss after that nobody gets any warning except me. It was a horrible one month of torture & biased behaviour which i suffered alott bcoz of one trainer & i was terminated from the process.
Cons
Bad Trainers, Average Transport, Gud Canteen, Bad HR, Bad Policies. Worst Rotational 24*7 Shifts.

I have been lucky to be Service Delivery Lead, serviced as Tower Lead, Capability Offering roles and leading transformation of accounts and change management.

Pros
I love the fact that company adopts innovation as culture while being equal to all (Inclusion and Diversity) and strong Ethical values. The passion for people and client is what keeps me going and motivated. Best part is - being such a big organization, Accenture is nimble on feet and agile on execution. Accenture being in pole position globally, helps many aspirants meet their dreams, if one is ready to put in efforts and sincerity. The corporate policies ensue that while the travel experience is well managed but at the same time as an organization, we meet all the mandatory requirements to the core. The new model on performance is just magic - very well transitioned to this model, considering the size of the organization. It always has been transparent and good experience. Compensation and career have always been either at par or couple of steps better than market and competition.
Cons
I feel that work-life balance is something to look forward to. Directionally we are on right track and has got good backing from Leadership, confident that the 'Truly Human' concept would really start showing positive results in near future.

Pros
Accenture has a high reputation in the corporate world. It was nice working for Accenture. The work culture is quite okay. There are five different divisions within Accenture i.e. Strategy, Consulting, Digital, Technology, Operation. It's difficult to get into the first few divisions. Accenture rules and policies are okay to follow. They give equal opportunity to men and women alike. There is job security unless an employee is violent or make any unprofessional behavior or underperformer. Many people treat it as if they are in govt. service. There is flexibility but it depends on the project, workload, line manager, etc. There is growth to deserving candidates but it might not work for everyone. Cab service is fine that includes pick up and drop aw well. But, the bad part is early pick up.
Cons
1. Sublevels concept- As per organization structure you've to cross x.3 to x.2 to x.1 to be eligible for the promotion. It takes usually 6 (fast track- rare) to 9 months to cross each sublevel. Therefore, it might take around 1.5 - 2 years to be eligible for the promotion. People in levels 13, 12, 11 have similar kinds of work but paid differently which is a sad part. 2. For experienced/language resource employees are well paid off whereas freshers are underpaid. However, the bonus/hike is not so good. 3. Employees on contract struggles a lot in terms of job security, salary, treatment 4. Office politics/managerial bias is another scenario 5. Most people are looking for hike/promotion but not focused on skill-building, nor thinking out of the box 6. Accenture Operation would not the best suit for creative or goal-oriented people. But can consider to work initial 1-2 years at max.

Pros
Mostly in Accenture Recuiter teams are wrosted and HR 'S never listen about employee s...HR'S will not listen anything whatever employees complaint about project and about managers... Firstly HR do the Needful for employees..
Cons

Project name:MY wizard project this is internal project.. Manager name :Sentil from Chennai Lead:Ventak Naidu from Hyderabad HDC3B building Supervisor:Muthu from Chennai.. HR : Sowmya from Banglore This people's are playing with employees Careers.. Sowmya never listen what employees explain about manger and lead and about projects.. What are all going on project... Please I am requesting to Accenture company Head....kindly take action on them. They have spoiled many employees life from that project... We were working on website maintenance for a big automobile company. So basically just updating content and images on existing website. So the work was monotonous and repitive

Pros
The only good thing about working at Accenture is transport cab facilities. They provide cabs for pickup as well as drops. And the work culture is good.
Cons
Now coming to the dislikes.. where do i start. First of all before joining any company get to know what kind of work you will be doing there. Accenture is a service based MNC and the only work here is glorified data entry which even a 10th std student could do. So there is no work satisfaction at all. 2nd thing is growth and learning opportunities.. both are non existent in this company. I have worked for over 2 years here and i am still not promoted once inspite of doing all the work with the highest quality. They also use a tool for tracking the time which you have spent sitting in front of the system which they think will show the productivity of the employee. So out of the 9 and half hour shift i am expected to sit in front of the system for 7 hours a day. There is no work life balance in this company you are expected to work in rotational night shifts which will effect your health severely. Do not join this company if you want to make a career as a software developer because the work done here is only data entry and software development is a completely different field.

My work was challenging. I enjoyed my work. Pressure wise it was well ballenced. My TL s were good . But I have also seen other furstrated people as well. Beside work there one can experience variuos upskilling training, company and project level events.

Pros
Accenture recognizes the personal life values. Though again it all varies from project to project ,but in all the project's I worked, manager and my team lead were very supportive when I had to balance my personal life with my professional life. Job security wise I felt very secure being at Accenture. Of course unless you are not delivering What is expected from you nobody will want you to go away. Accenture also holds good bench strength which signifies the support Accenture provides towards it's employees.
Cons
I have started my career in Accenture. Being in the same company my salary was not much high. As I was a hot skill developer, in market people of my skill and experience are getting double than what I withdraw. Even Accenture hired people less than my experience in almost double salary than mine and they are not even able to deliver what is expected from them. So one thing which I have observed bad is the hiring process and less care of the employee in house who are already giving you good business. At present day I find my decision worthy of switching the company. One advice to management is that .. take care of your employees in house who are actually giving you the business. If you are unbale to recognize them for any reason than that is your fault.

Pathetic work enviornent due to uncleanliness and no ventilation and for me i used to clean desks and computers and everyday i used to get the dust. And trust me when i say that we used to affect our productivity due to flies and mosquitoes.

Pros
As i have left after so many disappointments, i don’t find any major positives in the company because their negative aspects are hiding the positive fators of the company. Well that’s a special skill set, which i didnt expect to see from a company like Accenture. But yes. Me being so sarcastic is the living proof that i after having some brilliant expereinces in other companies like SYNTEL AND JLT for which i am always thankful to them, Accenture has proved that there is no positive in them.
Cons
Right from the beggining when i got selected for the job it took them 3 weeks to inform me that i have been selected and when i went for my document submission there was no humble behaviour and i literally felt like i am in a glorified government office where no one knows what to do. After sitting for an hour the HR person who was busy chatting on phone for over 30 mins and smiling and giggling does not find time to collect the necessary documents especially during office hours took the documents which didnt even take more than 3 mins per person who all ready with the documents.. isn’t that silly. When we were said to be sent to different location as per our projects the security guy again were so busy that for 30 mins we were said to wait in hot sun and when we ask them for the reason for us to not to go up they say there are no interviews today. We had to remind them with tough voice that we its our 1st day but they had no conceteration. When we went up there was no training happening but still the manager who was appointed was sitting with his laptop and was showing his stupid authority by saying plz come on time as we don’t entertain late comers. I don’t take non sense at all. So even i had to tell that what can we do that the security personnels and the managememts are not knowing what they shud do. Isn’t it your job to assist prople for the first time in the office properly. He said, it doesn’t happen anywhere. I said it happens everywhere but i guess you have no idea about that ethics. There was no humility from the beginning. Like this there was always some arguement with the management and we had to take permissions even to go to toilets. Similarly like this there were many issues as mentioned below:- 1. Poor Canteen 2. Uninterested HR personnels 3. Very poor and pathetic management skills (10 year kid know much better way to do homework) 4. Playing with reports and deporting people because of no numbers. 5. No proper reports given by management.
