Job Description :

and motivated professionals with relevant experience.

Position: District Coordinator /Agriculture Expert / Social Worker

Location: Chhattisgarh (Bilaspur/Raigarh)

Compensation: Upto 20k

Experience Required: 3-5 Years

No of Vacancies : Coordinator-2, Social Worker-4, Agriculture Expert -4)

Joining: Should be able to join within a week’s time upon selection

Duties & Responsibilities

Criteria of identification of beneficiaries for the rural development project

Knowledge on azolla culture and vermin-composting to educate farmer community

Understanding on beneficiaries’ total land holding, socio economic status of farmers, category and

livestock availability

Promoting SHG’s and involving SHG women for livelihood options like vermi compost, nutritional

garden, Plantation of trees / shrubs on community land for greener community

Bill of Quantities (BOQ), design sheets, comparative statement and concept note of pond cleaning,

check dam, farm pond, farm bunding and solar water lifting pump with water tank

Construction of IHHL unit- No Objection Certification (NOC) from competent authority such as Block

Development Officer (BDO) or Secretary of Gram Panchayat, for list of beneficiaries and concept

letter.

Solar street light- Village mapping and locate site to install solar street lights with endorsement

letter with Gram Panchayat or Deputy Collector (DC).

Awareness creation on Health and Sanitation through camps and Community Led Total Sanitation

Campaign (CLTSC)

Planning of Farmers Exposure Visit

Promoting organic farming

Tie up for market linkages

Organizing awareness camps

Minimum Qualification, knowledge and experience:


Masters in Social work / Agriculture from a reputed college/institute. (Diploma or Degree in Rural

Management will be desirable)

At least 3 years experience in a similar position in a reputed organization.

Excellent skills in report writing, content writing

Sound knowledge of rural livelihoods and practices, Skill Development for income, Health & hygiene,

Community development, infrastructure development, Formation of SHGs, etc.

Good knowledge of computer applications and MIS management
